WE CAN HELP YOU
BEYOND THE BATTLEFIELD

The Veterans Integration Centers strives to meet the varying needs of Veterans, their families, and local residents of the 87123 zip code by offering a wide range of services designed to help assist in each Veteran's unique situation. Our goal is for you to achieve stable housing and independence, including assistance with multiple resources.

Veteran and Family

OUR SERVICES

Multiple Housing Options

With multiple housing options based on the Veteran’s unique situation, the VIC has choices for Veterans and their families at risk of homelessness to end the cycle immediately.

  • EMERGENCY HOUSING

  • TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

  • RAPID RE-HOUSING & HOMELESS PREVENTION

Mental Health Counseling

We focus on clinical mental health, substance abuse and addictions.

Our counseling program is funded in part through a grant from the Bernalillo County Department of Behavioral Health Services; the All Together New Mexico Foundation; and, the Con Alma Health Foundation, there is no cost for services to the Veteran and their family members.

Food Pantry and Nutrition Education

Veterans, their families, and local residents of the 87123 zip code have access to food resources through the VIC food pantry. We help over 1100 needy families in the community each year with healthy and nutritious items to combat the 26% food insecure in New Mexico.

Clothing & Donations Program

Every Veteran and family that exits our programs and moves into their new home receives furniture and household items to turn a “house” into a “home”.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the VIC has clothing options for men, women and children, as well as essential hygiene items every client receives upon enrollment as needed.
