Supportive Services for Veteran Families

The Veterans Integration Centers Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program is funded by a grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides help for very-low income veterans and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

You may qualify for assistance if you are a homeless veteran or at risk of homelessness and were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable.

Program Eligibility:
• Be a Veteran Family
• Served on Active Duty
• Discharged Under Conditions Other than Dishonorable
• Be Homeless or at Risk of Homelessness
• Very-low Income

Services Available:
• Rapid Re-Housing
• Case Management
• Homeless Prevention
• Temporary Financial Assistance
• Clothing
• Food
• Furniture
– Rental assistance
– Utility-fee payment assistance
– Deposits (security or utility)
– Moving costs
– Purchase of emergency supplies for a participant
– Transportation
– Child care

Counties Served:
Bernalillo, Grant, Guadalupe, Hidalgo, Lincoln, Luna, Otero, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Sierra, Torrance, & Valencia
